BALTIMORE, Jan. 23, 2018 /PRNewswire/ — Tessemae’s has entered into a partnership with Lionsgate’s Summit Entertainment label to promote the release of their new animated film EARLY MAN. The film, from four-time Academy Award® winning director Nick Park and stop motion animation studio AARDMAN [WALLACE AND GROMIT and SHAUN THE SHEEP], opens in theatres on February 16th. Set at the dawn of time, when prehistoric creatures roamed the earth, EARLY MAN tells the story of courageous caveman hero Dug and his best friend Hognob as they unite his tribe against a mighty enemy to save their home. EARLY MAN stars Eddie Redmayne, Tom Hiddleston, Maisie Williams and Timothy Spall.

Lionsgate and Tessemae's are kicking off the partnership with the introduction of the EARLY MAN "Prehistoric Pack" of sauces, merging Dug's paleolithic lifestyle with the brand's dedication to using only natural ingredients and educating America on clean eating.

Lionsgate and Tessemae’s are kicking off the partnership with the introduction of the EARLY MAN «Prehistoric Pack» of sauces, merging Dug’s paleolithic lifestyle with the brand’s dedication to using only natural ingredients and educating America on clean eating. Tessemae’s knows the importance of choosing the healthiest, most natural ingredients to enhance lives. Head Chef and EVP of Culinary Development at Tessemae’s, Kristen Dittami says, «The most important thing to us is how a product tastes, and how it makes us feel. It all connects back to our mission of «simplifying food to amplify life.»

Tessemae’s has produced a Tessemae’s | Feeding Your Tribe with Early Man spot that connects the film’s characters and ecosystem to the Tessemae’s brand, alongside a digital marketing and e-commerce campaign, including extensions with the influential Whole30® and Butcher Box clean eating programs.  When asked about the partnership, CEO Greg Vetter stated, «We thought this was a perfect brand fit and are so excited. We are not only entrepreneurs and marketers, but parents of children who loved earlier Lionsgate films, like SHAUN THE SHEEP, and we can’t wait for this release!»

«We are thrilled to partner with Tessemae’s to bring EARLY MAN to life for families at the dinner table and at the movies,» said Paula Kupfer, SVP Global Partnerships and Promotions at Lionsgate.

Tessemae’s looks forward to working with Lionsgate to simplify food and amplify life when EARLY MAN and the many dressings of Tessemae’s unite. EARLY MAN is an Aardman and Studio Canal production and will be released nationwide in the United States by Lionsgate on February 16th.
